Ian's journey in construction began at age six, apprenticing under his father on side jobs and mastering many trades — rough carpentry, finish carpentry, doors, millwork, paint, patios, and beyond. After high school, he joined the same company where his father had built a legendary career, starting in the field as labor and swiftly rising through the ranks. By 21 he had become the company's youngest foreman, earning recognition as one of its most driven and capable performers. In 2017, he was promoted to Field Superintendent, taking full command of the entire field division. He built and led high-performance crews — hand-selecting talent, developing foremen and supervisors, and establishing standards for quality control, production tracking, and jobsite safety. Every project was resourced, scheduled, and delivered with precision, earning a reputation for reliability that few could match. In 2021, he and Ceira founded True North Structural to build a company worthy of their vision — one rooted in unwavering integrity, forged through elite craftsmanship, and powered by the deep industry network and hard-won expertise they had spent decades cultivating.

With nearly a decade of experience in commercial construction, Ceira launched her career after earning her bachelor's degree in business management and has since built an impressive track record of project leadership across the Valley. She began at one of Phoenix's most established general contractors, where she learned the commercial construction basics starting as admin and working her way up to assisting project managers on various projects. She soaked up all the information and knowledge they had to give, getting first-hand experience in what it takes to run a project from estimate to punch list. She then joined a fast-growing general contractor as a project engineer, earning successive promotions to Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager. In that role, she led a diverse portfolio of demanding projects — including fast-track Amazon tenant improvements, high-end office buildouts across multiple property types, sophisticated manufacturing facilities requiring extensive coordination with municipal agencies, tenants, and ownership groups, and multi-building ground-up commercial developments.

Joel built his career in construction from the ground up, starting as a teenager painting houses and rapidly advancing to lead residential painting crews. He then launched and operated his own successful remodeling company for over 12 years, delivering high-end kitchens, bathrooms, finish carpentry, and room additions with an unwavering commitment to quality. That entrepreneurial foundation honed his expertise in running disciplined, detail-oriented teams. He made a bold transition into large-scale commercial construction, beginning as a steel erector and rising to oversee roof-structure installation crews of up to 55 people on multi-million-dollar projects. That trajectory — from hands-on craftsman to commercial field superintendent — gives him rare insight into both precision workmanship and large-team leadership. Today, he leverages that depth of experience to drive crew development, enforce rigorous quality control, and cultivate the safety-first culture that defines True North Structural's jobsites.
